Introduction An advanced database is involved in gathering of data that is planned so that it can be easily retrieved, accomplished and reorganised as well. The advanced technology has greatly evolved from peer to peer, peer to server and from server to cloud base system. However the advanced database system has different pros and cons within. Some of the advantages of this database system include reduced costs, saves on time consumption, and allows easier retrieval of data. Some of the most important configurations used in advanced database include the Network topology and the backbone system. Peer-to-Peer was established for substantial courtesy starting from both invention and academic world as a form of circulated computation lying between the traditionally distributed systems and the web. Peer to server this has greatly changed from two peers (computers which were used which were used to generate their resources in a decentralized manner thus, opting to bring difficulties. Therefore the peer was transformed to a server which operated in a centralised manner which enabled the server to serve many clients. Also the advanced database system has evolved to cloud based system which relay on sharing of computing resources other than having personal resources or devices as well. Don’t waste time! Our writers will create an original "Advanced Database" essay for you Create order A physical topology refers to the physical design of networks, the cabling system design used to link devices. This mentions to the design of? electrics, the sites of nodules, and the acquaintances in the midst of the nodules and the wiring (Shi, Lo, Qian, etal. 2016). The corporal topology of a system is unwavering by the competences of the net entree devices and mass media, the glassy of resistor or culpability acceptance is anticipated, plus the charge allied with wiring or satellites paths. This topology relationship aids in database storage and maintenance of the available nodes and the links in the networks and characteristics. Examples include Mesh, Star, Bus, Ring and Star topologies. Mesh topology This is one of the networks system in which the networks are linked with many terminated interconnections between net nodes. There is joining of nodes in this systems through use of a circuit. Mesh Topology is therefore divide into the full mesh and partial mesh topologies. Full mesh topology mainly arises when all cables within this network system has a path linked to nodules within it. This network topology therefore lavish to contrivance but in this scenario it ends up cropping the utmost volume of compensation. On the other hand, a partial mesh topology is less expensive for implementation and crops fewer termination as compared to full mesh topology. In this topology, specific lumps are structured in a full mesh system while others are linked to one or two nodes within the system. Star Topology It is a star-like network, in which the hub (main computer) links the devices. The nodes interconnect from lump to the other by paving data through the hub.one major merit for this topology is that, one faulty of the node within its network system does not interfere with the rest of the system. Its core demerit is that if the hub fails, the entire system does not function. Bus Topology A bus topology is a centralized cable with a main wire that is used to link all the devices on a Local area Network. The bus topology can also be referred as the backbone of the network. This network is fairly cheap and easier to connect in minor systems. As compared to star topology, the bus topology requires less cables thus making it easier to connect a device. However the bus topology has got its own demerit which occurs when a wire break down therefore no transmission data will occur and sometimes the problem cannot be easily retrieved thus causing 7the network to shut down. Ring Topology This topology is also a Local area network. However, all its nodes are connected in a close loop. This therefore indicates that messages travels around the ring network with which every node within the topology reads each messages that has being addressed. The ring topology has got one main merit which is it can span large distances compared to any other network topology since each of its nodes regenerates message as they pass through them. Tree Topology A tree topology is also referred as the hybrid topology which involves a combination of both bus and star topologies. In this topology a group of star network are linked along the bus prop cable. This system is best suited for huge processor networks since the topology rifts the entire net into small parts which can be effortlessly managed. The topology has several demerits one of the major being that the interconnection mainly relies on the hub that is on the middle and whenever this hub fails it leads to corruption of the entire network system. Constraints A constraints is said to be an enforcement of the data type which is involved in updating, insertion and deletion from the table. The general purpose for these constraints is to maintain the required data integrity during data updates, deletion and insertion into a given table. Constraints are further used to constrain data and also used to enforce a referential integrity and ensure security of data within the advanced database system. They also prevent incomplete data storage within the database system. There several types of constraints which include: Primary key: this is a constraints that is mainly used to uniquely identify each records within the database. Foreign key: it is a constraints through which values from the specified columns must referenced from the existing record in another table Not null: in this constraints where each value within the specified column must be NULL. Unique constraints: values in specific columns must be unique for each row in the table. Check: in this constraints a mien is itemised and it must evaluate the truth for a constraints for a constraint to be specified. A script programme to create a database table In database a table is derived as a set of values and it consist of vertical columns and the horizontal rows having the cell being a unit in which the column and the row conjoins. A table tends to have a specified no of columns and any given number of rows. Below is a script program to create a database table: Backbone System A backbone is a computer based network that comprises the number of connectivity amongst its devices such as the hubs, circuits and the connectors. This network aims at providing a way for interchange of information between various local area networks. This system aids in easy access of stored information from the database thus reducing time wastage when one needs to retrieve any given information from the database system .With the advanced technology backbone system has made a great contribution in improvement of database. Conclusion A database system enables one to store, organise and manage a huge expanse of information within the developed software. Making use of the database system helps in rising the effectiveness of business acts and declines the overall costs. They are also important to the organizations and businesses since they provide an efficient technique for managing numerous types of data. Examples of data that can be easily managed in the database include: employee records, student records, payroll, accounting, project management, and catalogue and library records. The database system also saves on time consumption since data is computerized thus little time is consumed when retrieving data from the data base as compared to the manual way of retrieving data. Essay on Action, Props, Costumes, and Visual Elements in...

Action, Props, Costumes, and Visual Elements in Trifles Susan Glaspell’s play, Trifles, shows the importance of staging, gestures, and props to create the proper atmosphere of a play. Without the development of the proper atmosphere through directions from the author, the whole point of the play may be missed. Words definitely do not tell the whole story in Trifles - the dialog only complements the unspoken. Susan Glaspell tells us her vision of the Wrights kitchen, where the action of her play Trifles takes place, through stage directions. She paints a gloomy picture of this center of activity. The kitchen is described as being in disorder with unwashed pans under the sink, a dish towel left on the table, a loaf of bread†¦show more content†¦Behind the men in a subservient position are two ladies. One is Mrs. Hale, the neighbors wife who is large and comfortable looking and Mrs. Peters, the Sheriffs wife, who is thin and wiry with a thin, nervous face. Mrs. Peters enters ahead of Mrs. Hale, but both women hang back near the door, while the men go directly to the stove and make a show of warming themselves. In these scene directions, Mrs. Glaspell has already made the reader see a cheerless place to live, cold weather and a culture of women in the background. The men get the first warmth of the stove without inviting the unimportant ladies to enjoy its warmth. They roam around looking at everything, but miss important clues. Meanwhile, the ladies observe the small everyday things in the room. By stage directions the audience can tell the women in the kitchen are getting more united. After the Sheriff and County Attorney make fun of Mrs. Wright worrying about her fruit being broken by the house being cold, we are told the ladies draw closer together. The atmosphere is getting to be ladies against men. When the men leave the kitchen the ladies then feel free to look around. They gently handle the unbroken fruit knowing how much work it involved. The empty rocking chair strikes a nerve in them that the owner is gone from her somber kitchen. The women set about their duties of gathering up clothes for Mrs. Wright in a businesslike way. Louis Xiv Essays (893 words) - Dauphins Of France,

Louis Xiv Louis XIV The Sun King, Louis XIV was only four years old when he succeeded his father to the French throne. Often not cared for, he nearly drowned because no one was watching him as he played near a pond. (The Sun King) This began to shape in his young mind, and gave him an early fear of God. Louis was also shaped by the French Civil War. In this, the Paris Parliament rose against the crown. For five years, Louis would suffer fear, cold, hunger and other spirit-breaking events. He would never forgive Paris, the nobles, or the common people. Finally, in 1653, Cardinal Jules Mazarin was able to end the rebellion. He began to instruct Louis on his position as king. Even though Louis the XIV was now of age, the Cardinal remained the dominant authority in French politics. Louis served with the French army during Frances war with Spain. His biggest battle was sacrificing his love for Mazarins niece for politics. In 1660 he married the daughter of the king of Spain to bring peace between the two countries. Mazarin died March 9, 1661. On March 10, Louis claimed supreme authority in France. Not since Henry IV had such a claim been made. Louis saw himself as Gods representative on earth, therefore, infallible.(Louis XIV and the French Monarchy) He oversaw road building, court decorum, defense, and disputes within the church. He had the support of his ministers, and the French people. He had given France the image it desired, youth and vitality surrounded by magnificence. Louis won the favor of the nobles by making it evident that their future depended on their ability stay on his good side. This weakened the nobility, and would eventually weaken France. Louis had among his supporters a wide spectrum of individuals. Writers such as Moliere were ordered to glorify him. Monuments rose throughout the country and Louis had palaces built in his honor. The most elaborate was Versailles, located outside Paris. Away from disease, Versailles also isolated the king from his people. France was also undergoing an economic revolution. Exports were increased, and a navy, merchant marine, and police association emerged. Roads, ports , and canals were being built. He invaded the Spanish Netherlands in 1667. The restarted war between France and Spain would be on again, off again for the remainder of Louis reign. In 1668, the French army retreated under pressure from Dutch and English forces. Louis swore to defeat the Dutch and ruin their Protestant mercantile republic. He allied himself with his cousin, Charles II of England, and invaded the Netherlands in 1672. Louis was victorious when the Treaty of Mijmegen was signed in 1678. When the Dutch were defeated, he had also defeated its allies, Spain and the Holy Roman Empire. Frances borders had expanded to the north and the east. His navy had become as large as that of England and Holland. His private life was not as fortunate. Friends had been implicated in the Affair of the Poisons, where eminent people had been accused of sorcery and murder. Louis ordered his court to become discrete. The seat of Government was transferred to Versailles in 1682. When the Queen died, he married Mme de Maintenon, who had been governess to the Kings children. Louis did not understand the reformation, and he viewed French Protestants as threats to the throne. He revoked the Edict of Nantes, which had granted them freedom of worship. Many left France, those that remained were persecuted. England, the Dutch, and the Holy Roman Empire united in 1688 in the Grand Alliance to stop French expansion. This war ended in 1697 with the signing of the Treaty of Rijswijk. France lost part of its territory, and Louis lost public support. He was forced to recognize William of Orange as king of England. This went against his belief that the Stuarts had divine right to the throne. A passion for fame and the desire to increase French territory in Europe were the leading motives of Louis XIV. He neglected the opportunities to gain an empire in America and India and involved France in wars that ruined the country financially and paved the way for the

Foregin Policy Essays - Laotian Civil War, , Term Papers

Foregin Policy Foreign Policy With the world balancing on the edge of destruction, foreign relationships are extremely important to the United States of America. The United States is fully recognized as the most powerful nation on the planet earth, and with that power comes a definitive sense of responsibility. The U.S. needs to pay close attention to this responsibility if it hopes to keep its place on the throne as king of the nations. This is where the United States foreign policy comes into play. Foreign policy is essentially positive or negative interaction with other nations as well as the goals and principles that are included. The United States have a couple of choices concerning their position; they could play the part of world leader or the part of world loner. Lets look at the viewpoint of an average college student whose knowledge of world affairs is somewhat lacking and then discuss the possible positions the United States can take in regards to their place in the world. I will also go over an example of each and get a grasp of what our governments two political parties, the Democrats and the Republicans, say about these. The main purpose of every countries foreign policy is to survive and stay stable in todays world. It is policy that provides a strong national security, keeps a good economy with other nations, and it is a chance to provide influence in the world; but above all this is the want for international peace. One of the main ways to conduct good foreign policy is that of diplomacy, where nations negotiate and compromise problems they might have in order to get along. By these diplomatic relations, countries can interact with one another and learn to work together for a better understanding of each others nations. Another method of foreign policy is that of being a loner or isolationist. Isolationism is the idea that we keep to ourselves and our own western hemisphere rather than venture into the affairs of the eastern world. This was basically the accepted perspective taken by the United States up until about the first world war when President Woodrow Wilson decided to plunge into the war effort. Then a peacekeeping association came about called the League of Nations, which Wilson helped propose, but the United States Senate gave it a firm no. This kept the United States in its loner state once again. Some years later the United States entered a period of awakening concerning getting out and about in the world. We journeyed into a time of Internationalism after the second world war but it was many earlier events that led up to this, particularly our interaction with Latin America. Back when the United States was just breaking away from Britain and starting as a nation, President James Monroe came up with a declaration called the Monroe Doctrine. In 1823 he wrote this, telling European nations to keep their noses in their own hemisphere. What Monroe didnt know was that he was establishing a beginning to a leadership responsibility in not only the western hemisphere, but in the entire world. The United States began sticking up for nations such as Mexico and Puerto Rico, and soon got involved in various other Latin American countries. In fact, the United States got involved eight times from 1904 to 1934, then again in the affairs of Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, and the destruction of the leftist government of Brazil after the second world war. It was during the beginning of World War II that the United States began to get more involved. At first the United States tried to keep to itself and stay out of the fighting. But when Germany, Japan, and Italy tried to expand by force into China, Ethiopia, Poland, Austria, and present day Czech Republic, Britain and France declared war on Hitler, and the United States did nothing. It wasnt until that fateful day of December 7 in 1941 when the United States had had enough. Pearl Harbor was attacked and Americans died, which was more than enough for us to start our trek into Internationalism and intervention. After World War II, the United States began its journey as world leader. It was now time for America to help other nations rebuild and start its hate of Communism. George Marshall, an Army General for the United States came up with the Marshall Plan, one that would provide extensive help for other nations in Europe by providing loans for

Education Philosophy Essays

Education Philosophy Essays Education Philosophy Essay Education Philosophy Essay Teaching Philosophy Passing on the tools to make a difference in every one of my studentâ„ ¢s lives has made me passionate about teaching children of all ages so they develop a wide range of skills that better enable them to enjoy life. Perhaps above all, teaching students requires a balance of fun while in detail sharing of knowledge and skill. I realize that the curriculum program in every school and community is likely to be slightly different so I can and will adapt to the local needs. I guess that is best put that I am not set in my ways as a teacher but instead I am always looking for the most effective way to teach my students within their environment. I have and will continue to display commitment and dedication to the school, students and parents by obeying the rules, mission statement, bylaws, policies, and philosophies of any school organization. I have and will maintain an atmosphere where the students are helped to feel relaxed to learn and do not fear the consequences of making mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes and I have and will continue to emphasize that all you can do is learn from them and aim to get a little better every time you practice or try something new. I follow the general approach that every class should include an enjoyable and fun atmosphere but also a structured curriculum where the kids develop good habits in learning. Being organized and prepared are important characteristics of students which take time and patience to demonstrate and cultivate. Students have to be able to learn skills under pressure, but if students are put under too much pressure from an early age they do not develop good tech nique and never realize their full potential as a student. It is that potential I can and will help them unlock.

An account on urban food security and agricultural readjustment Essay

An account on urban food security and agricultural readjustment - Essay Example Underpinning the dramatic increases in production capacity. This change, effects of which spread throughout the world, had an enormous impact on society. Along with the industrial revolution the socioeconomic evolution was triggered. The unfolding of the evolution carried the people of the nations through the diverse levels of socioeconomic life, also in the mean time opening up further fields of employment opportunities thereof bearing more elaborate societal and national classifications. Just as a new occupation based distinction between compatriots was generated by the industrial revolution, a division of labor distinguishes the countries of the globalized world. The socioeconomic classification of the so called NIC (newly industrialized country) applies to myriad countries across the globe. Countries defined as NICs are those with economic standards that are yet to reach the first world status but at the same time have surpassed their developing counterparts and are characterized by the rapid economic growth their nation is undergoing. Predominantly export-oriented initial or ongoing industrialization process is the vital determinant of this rapid growth. Many of the newly industrialized countries and developing countries, face social upheaval primarily occurring as more and more people migrate to urban areas. The growing number of rising concerns in manufacturing and factories in the cities enable the accommodation of thousands of laborers. Thereby drawing out the workforce of cultivation. The same also marks the transformation of developing countries as more and more people switch from agriculture to industrial sectors. At the preliminary stage; the social freedom and civil rights, increasingly open market economy, freedom to trade with any nation of the world, whopping foreign investments and large scale corporations operations in almost all the continents come across as the shared
